About Me

I’ve been working in journalism since 2014. As a reporter in the UK I have covered a range of topics from politics, healthcare and social issues to crime, planning and community events. I was also one of the UK's first Local Democracy Reporters funded by the BBC to restore transparency in local governance.

Meanwhile, I have written many freelance international articles covering everything from the rise of surveillance states to the arms trade and the experience of people living through displacement and dictatorship. This work spans breaking news, investigative features, and longform reportage.

Now based in Australia, I remain focused on stories that explore human rights, and political power; both locally and globally. I’m available for freelance commissions, features, and commentary.
